Frequently Asked Questions

  • Our solid fuel grills are modular, meaning that most features can be added, moved and removed as you please. The foundation for our system is the hearth. We base our proposals on the space you have available for the hearth and inside that hearth you can pick and choose between our many different features. This allows for great flexibility in menu changes and over time gives the kitchen the option to renew without having to purchase a completely new grill.

  • Our standard lead time is 16-18 weeks, but it depends on many factors like the size and complexity of your unit, whether it is built from our standard components or if we have to develop an idea. For larger very customized projects and some island suites the lead times can be a lot longer.

  • The price depends on the size and the desired features, but a general starting point is in the $20Ks and up. If you are comfortable with sharing your budget we can better help you choose the features that will provide you with the optimal setup and what you can look to add on later should that be needed/wanted.

  • All of our units are built from 304 stainless steel. All units are also offered in Marine Grade 316 stainless steel.

  • Please reach out to us via the contact form so we can help guide you to the right product choice. Once we have ensured that you have the right setup, we will connect you with our sales representative to complete your order.

  • Yes. We require a 50% deposit to schedule your project. The remaining 50% is due upon completion and before shipping. If your unit is stored with us for more than 30 days, the final payment is due no more than 30 days after completion.

  • All solid fuel units require their own separate hood system system specifically made for solid fuel. Please contact your desired hood manufacturer for more information on requirements and pricing. Keep in mind that a solid fuel hood system may be significantly more expensive than a standard one.

  • Yes. We partner with The Montague Company on all things gas related. This includes appliances for island suites and lineups. If you are referring to a gas grill, we are happy to also discuss the options with you. Please contact us for more info.

  • Yes. But it is very rarely needed. Most of our units arrive fully assembled ready to be put in place. If a unit arrives in multiple pieces due to size, it will arrive with an assembly manual and most often also video instructions.

  • Yes. We encourage you to visit our workshop in Atlanta to see how your grill is being made and to try one of our setups. We are also happy to arrange a training session with our collaborative Chef Colin McGowan here in Atlanta or at your facility after your unit is installed.

  • The majority of servicing can be done over the phone with basic instructions. Please fill out a contact form or email our office to schedule a call.

  • We offer multiple levels for service. By following the user manual provided to you with your purchase, most service calls can be handled over the phone. If an on site visit is required, we have a great network of service and repair technicians that can handle most inquiries. If an item needs further assistance it can be removed from the hearth and returned to our shop in Atlanta where we can quickly and efficiently assess and service the item before it is returned to you.

  • We are actively in the process of obtaining our certification. While we wait for the certification, if required by your county, we recommend that your units be field evaluated by Intertek. Please send us an email with your information and we would be happy to facilitate the contact.
